Scour Craigslist.  I picked up a 7603 that needs repair for $10.

They don't show up often, but you have to watch and be quick.  They're out there.

And I'm on the other side of Australia---nearly as bad! ;D

Anyone in the area would be crazy not to grab it--even if the mainframe ism't fixable,the plugins are probably OK.

Unfortunately it's not free any more. Apparently he had much more interest than expected and so he decided to put it on eBay.
