Hi,
I'm selling 30 0603 Resistor Kits. 100 Resistors / value. The sets are packaged in individual boxes. I'm not selling them individually cause I don't really have the time to handle that.
I can bundle the boxes together and ship them but would prefer local pickup in Hamburg, Germany.
300€ plus shipping?
Best regards
Christopher
-
If someone is selling them individually, I would be interested (living as close to Hamburg as possible without living in Hamburg).
-
Me too on an individual kit - but 30 is too much!
-
+1, and we are already 3 buyers. If we reach like 20-30 buyers I can handle to buy all of them and reship to Europe (even to entire world if it makes sense).
Only problem I am on a business trip until September....
-
+1 for individual kit :scared:
-
+1, I really like the tiny containers!!! Pills? Do you have spares??
Mauro
-
+ 1 for single kit :)
-
+1 for 2-3 kits
-
+1 for single kit!
Edit: Will take 2!
-
9 kits sold, please mooore!
-
If shipping to uk isnt silly I might be in for 1
Trev
-
I will take one too...
-
I would be interested in 1 (one) kit.
-
12 kit sold. More please.
If we get >20, we are in business and I will ship all of them anywhere you want.
-
Actually if uk shipping is okay I would probably have 2 kits.
-
Well if we reach around 19 or so and nobody wants an additional kit, I'll just take 2 in instead of 1.
-
I am also willing to take 2 to make it possible
-
i'll take 3
-
Nice guys, taking two is not a bad idea at all. In my case I will make a 0603 set with double quantity and use the extra empty fixture for another smd size/component.
Tonight I will do some counts to see where we are.
-
Ill also take 2 if they end up being sold individually :-) I posted above so please take this as update to the original post.
-
+1 I can take one kit.
/Lars
-
I would take one or two but wondering if shipping these twice will double the price? I just checked but Hamburg is a 5 hours drive from here and then I have to go back again of course...
-
Please count me in for 2 kits
-
I asked for one kit, but, as some other recognized, it would be better (if any more are available) for two kits!!!
-
I shoot a PM to Christopher asking the size and weight of a package, tomorrow I will have the feedback.
Once we got these details everybody can understand how much it will be the shipping costs.
I will probably use DHL:
https://www.dhl.de/en/privatkunden.html (https://www.dhl.de/en/privatkunden.html)
or Hermes:
https://www.myhermes.de/ (https://www.myhermes.de/)
According to him no problem to pack up to 3 kits in one box, so NO double or triple shipping costs for more units.
Here the google doc with the current (head) counts:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1zD7ZG1Qy8NcXUozXzatNmRi2zMeMLtDl-LQlnRfmVPY/edit?usp=sharing (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1zD7ZG1Qy8NcXUozXzatNmRi2zMeMLtDl-LQlnRfmVPY/edit?usp=sharing)
BE QUICK THERE ARE IS NOW JUST 3 1 KITS AVAILABLE!
NEXT steps:
1.
Please guys in the same country tell me if you want just a box to one of you and then reship locally to cut costs.
This is especially important to USA customers W2DML and JXL.
2.
M4x and CM800, please let me know your shipping destination country.
3.
If your avatar flag is not the shipping destination country let me know.
4.
Please check, if you data in the sheet is correct. If not let me know. No message=silence=good news=everything is ok!
Thanks guys you are awesome.
-
I guess they are all gone, but if not, two for me please.
-
neslekkim, two are reserved for you.

M4x the kits are in Hamburg. Christofer don't want to sell them in single unit, you can ask him if you are interested.
I will get all the kits in Munich, and then reship it to the entire world. Contact me if you want to pick them up in Munich.
CM800 Thanks for all the information. I need the package dimension and weight to estimate the shipping costs.
-
I live in Munich area and would be interested in one kit. Let me know if there are any leftovers.
-
Warhawk, you got it!! Pickup in Munich or ship to the Munich area?
TONIGHT I WILL REDO THE COUNTS AND START TO MANAGE THE SHIPPING COSTS!
NOW ALL SOLD.
PS: I can accept a waiting/wishing list if some of the guys above changes idea for some reasons. Just post below what you would buy.
-
M4x the kits are in Hamburg. Christofer don't want to sell then in single unit, you can ask him if you are interested. [...]
Okay, just ship it then :-)
-
Thanks for managing this Zucca, just pm the details when you have them :-+
-
Package are 22x22x18cm. Christopher did not provided the weight, I just guessed the shipping category.
Guys in Italy, UK, Sweden or USA now it's the time to decide if you want to combine the shipping to save money. the shipping costs should stay the same as a single shipment, if not I will let you know.
USA delivered with DHL and tracking
neslekkim Norway 15,89€ DHL with no Tracking, DHL 29,99 Euro with Tracking, what should I do? PM me.
Warhawk can you confirm me the pick up in Munich?
All the others Hermes with Tracking (cheaper than DHL).
Payments per PayPal
, please use the PayPal fee calculator

Shipping address in PayPal or PM me.
Donations/tips are welcome, so I can buy a cheap pizza at the end (will post a picture here).
As soon I got the money I will transfer the amount to Christopher and get the ball rolling.

I know it's late... but if someone want to take one kit less, I would take 2 ::)
Mauro
-
I don't mind dropping mine for mauroh to have one, admittedly don't REALLY need it :)
-
CM800 is out, mauroh you got it, now you have to send me 33,79€! Excel sheet already updated.
-
Paid.
Do we have a datasheet or something like that?
-
Also paid. Thanks again for doing this! :-+
-
Paid, with tip :-) and a huge thanks for the time/effort it takes

PayPal says the receiver gets 35.34. if so the rest is a tip. :-//

I tried myself:

what I got:
Amount received
35,34 EUR
Fee 1,02 EUR
Total 34,32 EUR
did you select Germany?
thanks for the tip ;D

To my defense: It didn't say origin country or destination country so I selected Netherlands, but I guess it's the same in all EUR countries?
Also, I don't understand why PayPal said receiver would receive the full amount, I didn't select friends or family.
Oh well, just don't spend it all at once :P

UPDATE:
Thanks for all payments, looks good so far.
A few "customers" ::) didn't paid yet, but I have enough money to payoff Christopher.
Tomorrow he will send me the kits.
Next week I will reship them and provide the tracking numbers for the EU guys.

Now you guys need to seat back and relax while I am doing my reshipping magic.
-
I got a room full of packages now.
Tomorrow I will start to the pack and ship.
Tracking number will be available on the google sheet.
-
Tonight I did the some quality control.
I verified/repacked all the packages so the right kit number is now packed and ready to go.
I did not check if all of the kits have the 62 values (=E12 series x 5 + 0R + 1MR) and have #100/value (just checked if the quantity is the same in all containers).
Of course I did not check with a DMM all the 6200 resistors/kit. :horse:
I spotted check about 60% of them and they looked good: 62 values there and R inside the little containers.
When you open the package make sure it is not upside down, just open it carefully and check if you have to turn around the package. the risk is to have the little containers all over on the table. I will put an up arrow with a sharpie on the package.
Tomorrow is the label day.
-
All the packages are on their way to your houses. I triple checked everything, everyone should get the right amount of kits at the right address.
Tracking numbers/link are available here:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1zD7ZG1Qy8NcXUozXzatNmRi2zMeMLtDl-LQlnRfmVPY/edit?usp=sharing (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1zD7ZG1Qy8NcXUozXzatNmRi2zMeMLtDl-LQlnRfmVPY/edit?usp=sharing)
for everybody who paid for it.
I copy pasted your PayPal email address in the DHL/Hermes system so you should get an email when the package is coming to you.
Let me know if there are any problems. I will check sporadically the shipments to see if any problems come up, please do the same.
-
I wasn't in the pool for getting a kit, but as a bystander I want to say thank you for the hard work you put into this, firstly for actually doing it and second for doing it so well.
-
dunkemhigh thanks for the kind words.
It's too soon to thank me, ;D as long all the packages aren't safely delivered without complains the game is not over.
-
So Christopher told me he was the one building the kits (was for his old business), that's why there are not available anywhere else in such a form.
I was thinking to integrate my current SMD R collections in the kits as we have 34 free holes in each kit.
Guess what, Christopher has still about 1000 empty little containers ready to go (I got the information just this morning). They come in 500 package.
Price is 25€ for 500 containers this means 25/500*34=1,7€/kit to fill up the empty holes.
I am so pissed I should ask for it before, now all the kits are already out.
I am even more pissed if I do the math, 34*30=1020 almost exactely to fill up all the empty holes in the kits.... RATS!!!! :horse:
Anyway what we should do? Probably I can go down with the shipping costs as I can use bubble envelopes, regular post with no tracking.
Oh well... Do you guys knows where we can buy such containers in the www?
-
ai.. I bought two to fill up one, would be nice to have containers to fill up the others, for say capacitors or someting.
Do these containers have some brand?, to look for them?
-
i would buy the tubes to fill up my 3 sets. (if no one else is interested i would also take 500 tubes / fill up to 500)
-
I like the small tubes. I bough 2 sets only to have more containers!!!!
-
Not sure how many sets (500pcs) are available....
I bought a set too.As a present for my mother for her collection of seeds: she has a great green thumb!!!
-
Let's see how many of us wants those 34 containers/kit or more...
Then we know if it makes sense to buy the 500 or even 1000.
-
I'm in for 2x34, maybe a few more as spares?
edit: same here, 100, or even 200 (if not shipping will kill it) if that is easier to make it go through
Guess one can newer have to many containers :)
-
2x34 plus spares for me - say 100 as a nice round figure. Feel free to reduce it down to 68 if it works out better for you.
Regards Timothy
-
34 for me. Or up to 100 if needed to make this happen.
/Lars
-
2 x 34 for me, or better yet 100.
-
I've just looked up what I have, there are 4 packs with 500 tubes each left.
-
I would probably take 2 x 34 containers if not more.
-
Christoper,
is it possible to buy one of the 500 pcs pack from you (@ €25/500)?
(located in Denmark, and shipping type whatever your prefer!)
PS: If any left of the resistor kits, I'm also in for one (or more) of these!
-
Christopher can you post your source for the tubes ? I can't get any at the moment but would like some in future and it would save me searching
-
Package just arrived, thanks to Christopher and Zucca :-+

Many thanks, mine arrived today.

My package arrived as well! Thank you very much!

Package received!!! mauroh and eliocor done.
Thank you zucca for the amazing effort :-+
Ciao Mauro
-
I was willing to identify the small containers and with a quick google search I easily got it!!
The key words are - Microcentrifuge Tubes screw - or - pcr tubes screw -
So if we'll need spare, there are plenty of source.
I was also thinking to get some tray / rack with 12 columns instead of 10 to better organize the E12 series.
By accident I also found the Tindie store of CHristopher (thank you again Man!!)
https://www.tindie.com/products/ChristopherN/e12-0603-1-resistor-kit/ (https://www.tindie.com/products/ChristopherN/e12-0603-1-resistor-kit/)

Hi,
yes, these are indeed PCR tubes. The ones I used are 2ml tubes with rubber o-ring seal. There are many places you can buy them from, just watch out for the o-ring and that they have a bottom that lets them stand on their own, most of them are designed in a way that they will only stand in racks.

In my case I bought the kits for the R SMD, the rest was nice to have...
After playing a bit with it, it's a slow process to get the SMD part out:
1- pick out the little container
2- unscrew the container cap
3- place the tweezer inside and get the SMD part
4- screw the container back (hoping it did not tilt/fall down on table before that)
5- place the container back in the hole in the fixture.
with proper SMD containers:
(https://ae01.alicdn.com/kf/HTB1ArE2SFXXXXazapXXq6xXFXXX8/Tungfull-100pcs-SMD-SMT-Component-Container-Storage-Boxes-Electronic-Case-Kit-The-1-Automatically-Pops-Up.jpg_640x640.jpg)
you need just 3 steps:
1- open the lid
2- place the tweezer inside and get the SMD part
3- close the lid
Plus it's much better to organise the kits/components (Lego brick build concept) AND you can staple the kits on top of the others without worrying that any containers could fall out the fixture.
Anyway that's my personal taste...
If you want the empty containers + fixtures I can sell them to you... 10 Euros for TWO + SHIPPING??? OBO send me a PM
-
Totally agree, but my big concern was space.
With one 8x3inch (~20x8 cm) rack i can fit the entire E12 series (mixing the 0-10ohm and 820K-1M values)
In the short term I'll just cut the received acrylic, rearranging it as 12x5 holes and removing the screws that at the moment are just in the middle of a usable spot!!.

with proper SMD containers:
I use this, https://smile.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0187S6CLM/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
But I'll also keep the rack just for 0603 size smd's as I like the look of it, all other sizes can go in the case though
-
Thanks to Zucca! And mauroh too.

Yes, it made its way to Holland! Probably already yesterday but I had to leave the office early.
Big Thanks! to Zucca!

Do you have a source for good ones?, I have bought from various sellers of these, and these look nice on pictures, but are mostly crappy quality, I guess they are copy of some other good ones?

I just got something from evilbay: 100 piece/26 Euro. Since they are not cheap, I hope they are not made in chinesium.
I'll let you know when they arrive.

Not cheap but I am happy with the quality: spring loaded lid and nice "lego connection".
-
with proper SMD containers:
The black esd proof ones are good but expensive, do you have a cheap link for them?
The pink etc colored chinese ones I hate since they have a plastick clip/lock, very uncomfortable.
The lid needs a spring I don't like a lock, already tear one nail on them.
-
Cool, did these ones actually have the wen tai mark on them?, and printing on the back of the containers?

Not interested in ESD since they are just R.
I have my tweezer in my hand, pull down a little the clip/lock with the tweezer tip, lid pops up, grab the component, place it and close the lid later.
No nail damages for me, I am happy.
-
Good for you :)
I think in front and would like a (semi automated) P&P machine pick the parts from the storage bins.

Just being pedantic, but technically thin-film smd resistors are sensitive to ESD too: http://www.vishaypg.com/docs/63129/esd_tn.pdf (http://www.vishaypg.com/docs/63129/esd_tn.pdf)

Did anyone measure these?, are they imperial 0603 or something else?, they feel like even smaller than 0603?
-
The resistor are standard 0603 bought from a large distributor, nothing special. I used them on many boards and never had any problems.

Recently used on a board I was building, theyre standard 603 size with 5% tolerance I believe. Did the trick
