I also tend to hoard stuff, much of it the result of the age old habit of starting projects, but not getting round to finishing them.

I got the same problem, already buying and collecting the hardware for projects that have not been started and the startdate us undetermined. Comes with age probably.

What I haven't told SWMBO yet is that I've targeted the walk in wardrobe for my new man cave.

I showed the pictures and this sentence to my SWMBO and she would advice to rethink this because according to her a walk in wardrobe is a womans dream come true, like a mancave++ with pooltable fridge big screen tv and entire TME setup for a man. I wish you good luck in communicating this idea, perhaps hire Tom Cruise if he is willing to accept this impossible mission
