Title: [USA] WTB: Teflon tubing for 18ga bus wire
Post by: cvanc on April 20, 2019, 02:55:57 am
Hi all-

So a hundred foot roll of this is both very expensive and far more than I need.  If any of you have maybe an extra 10 feet available please contact me.  I'm in Chicago. Thanks!

I found a 10ft  coil of what is labeled 14 Ga Teflon tube; you may have it for the shipping cost.  A pin .066" (1.67mm) slides inside OD is .092" (2.33mm).  PM me if you want it

I don't know if the material will suit you, but if you look for PTFE tubing, you will find some less expensive options, it should be available in 2mm/1.9mm ID pretty cheaply/widely as that's a size used for constraining filament in 3d printers.

Not sure if it's a PTFE with the electrical properties you're looking for, but there should be at least availability.

https://www.fluorostore.com (https://www.fluorostore.com) has some pretty affordable options.  I've used them before and I've been happy with what I got.
