   I'm just curious, what's wrong with your 1610?  I had one of those beasts but I don't know if it's still around or not.  I know that I haven't turned it on in at least 25 years!  I'm pretty sure that I still have my old 1601L LA in a HP 180 main frame.  That was my first LA and I had to fix the 180 a few times and I never had the heart to pitch the thing.

I bought it defective...there is a fault in the display unit. So I'm looking for a service manual. I would also buy it on Ebay, but shipping to Germany is extremely expensive!

He did send me the manual by e mail once, but I prefer a disc to put in my file along with my repair notes.
