(1/1)
arko:
Hi there!
I am desperately trying to find a Casio fx-61f.
If any one of you got one too many... I'll be glad to buy it for a good price ;D

i want one as well for the parallel button

It takes some practice with any calculator and you will be successfull :D. I allways say that in electronics you only have to remember just a few formulas, the basic ones paralel formulas, ohms law, power formulas and so on. But just for the simplicity of the parallel button thing I am also interested in a modern version of Casio fx-61f, that can include other manufacturers. I also had no luck finding an electric purpose calculator, but maybe someone had the time or luck to find one and maybe share the model or brand. I`l keep searching and if I find one I`l post a reply. Best of luck!

What's so great about this Casio? Why not just get a graphing calculator and write up a simple code/program to perform the same formulas as the Casio? I use a TI-83+ graphing calculator and have wrote numerous programs like this. A program which calculates two parallel resistor values would be very simple. I can understand if you are partial to this specific calculator for personal reasons. I just don't think it justifies the price tag when there are such great modernized calculators out there that can perform the same function, and then some, with a little coding.
