That was in an email dated Tue, 16 Dec 2008. Fortunately I didn't hold my breath.

The email that was sent to me about it said he modified his code (to capture over and over again) to test what would happen and while in some ways it was workable, in others it needed work.  It may take time, but they sounds like they are addressing the slowness of updates so hopefully some good stuff will be around the corner.  I'm pleased with the 1.1.18 beta right now and I can compile my own analyzer to add into it if needed so I'm content.
