House91320:
I am not acutely selling this but I found it and thought allot of people would be interested, a 2600 farad cap fro $12.50. http://www.goldmine-elec-products.com/prodinfo.asp?number=G17960 :o

slburris:
That's their wimpy little capacitor :-)

They have a 3000F cap as well:

Tech docs here:

I kinda wonder about this spec though

"Over 1 million duty cycles"

Maybe I'm not familiar with the ultra large capacitors, but I'm not used
to seeing a wearout rating like this.  I wonder if this is an aerogel?

House91320:
The cool thing is you can use it as a battery which is what I want to do.

That rating is meaningless without specifying the load and voltage.

I imagine that charging/discharging quickly will cause more wear and tear than slow charge/discharge.

How would you verify that it really is a 2600 or 3000 F cap? Specialised meter or time constant and stopwatch?
