Save me from the junk-yard: Philips PM 3055
« on: January 03, 2014, 09:45:24 am »
Hi,

as mentioned in another thread I have a Philips PM 3055 lying around.
The traces are noisy and the PSU does the "I'm defective"-Humm an SPSU does. Lost interest in repairing it, don't need it, hopefully I get all the small parts together. The Handle is missing.

Cosmetic condition is OK.

I don't want money (except shipping of course), i want to get rid of it.

There are two members on this forum with a PM3055 and PM3065 that need parts from that scope!

VTL (needing one potentiometer)
https://www.eevblog.com/forum/reviews/philips-pm3055-repair-and-teardown/msg82148/#msg82148
and
Shock (me) (needing a few potentiometers,  as I have so far 6 damaged ones but may require spares during the repair)
https://www.eevblog.com/forum/buysellwanted/lfswtb-philips-pm3065-oscilloscope-pots/msg346709/#msg346709

Not sure about VTL and if he still needs one but I'm willing to pay for parts.  I have what otherwise a good working scope (it's for personal use not for sale).
It was a perfect scope until the courier damaged it and made it operationally worthless without these parts. They also burnt me as well over disputing the insurance.

It's a pity Neslekkim did not mention it in this thread instead of mine He updated my thread straight after you posted the giveaway.

I'm very sorry, but I only have this one Unit and Philips/Fluke is the only manufacturer I don't have any NOS-Parts for (and no resembling ones).
As for the scope I go for the "first come first serve"-approach everything else would be unfair.

Nah I don't care about your giveaway rules I was just surprised you missed my post, I was on the same page.
Again, I only want roughly 1% of a scope hehehe not a whole scope.  I am willing to pay for it of course.
If someone has some and feels uncomfortable about me giving them money, I'll give it to a worthy charity that supports the destitute.
