But the company logo on the website you linked to says GRATTEN not GAATEN: http://en.glarun-atten.com
They also have another website where GRATTE is part of the domain name http://en.gratten.cn/

Sorry, that's my  fault, it is GRATTEN! |O |O |O |O |O |O

If by "the European distributor" you mean "random dude's basement operation", then yes. It's a free market. :)

Well it's arrived, very well packed and nicely presented.
1. its much heavier than i thought it would be, nice and solid on table.
2. buttons and knobs nice and solid too, no wobbly bits here.
display bright, adjustable screen and track brightness.
3. triggering, single, all easy and savable.

This in't going to be a full review.
We bought several £300 chinese scopes a few years ago and they are USELESS, this though is miles a head, for the same money.

For £300 you cant go wrong.

considering Spectrum analyser from Gratten now.....

Hello

Have you purchased it on atten.eu? I am planning to buy the same model, but I can not find too much references to that store ... is it reliable? Thank you.

If you end up removing the back cover check to see if the PCB is branded Siglent.

Yes from atten.eu

http://www.atten.eu/ga1102cal-100hmz.html

No problems with payment, they contact you when dispatched (TNT 3 days delivery), very well packed.

I,m really getting to like this scope. No it's not a Tektronics but still for £300 it's pretty good.
I've been using a Hameg dso for a while, they go for about £100 for 60mhz crt dso and this Gratten beats it hands down.

The supplied 'GAScope' software is very good, fast easy to use (compared to some I've tried that were a waste of time).

So no complaints here. This scope is ideal for average service work, probably too good for schools etc.

Recomended.

So I see that you have joined this forum just to say that you have purchased one and rave on about how good it is?  :bullshit:
I'm not saying we should kill all stupid people. I'm just saying that we should remove all product safety labels and let natural selection do its work.

I'm not 'raving on' about anything. Someone asks for my opinion, i gave it!

A  few posts back you couldn't even get the name right!

The whole thread is about whether its any good or not, I think it is...others may not...it's just an opinion.

Well, in this quote, he says it is GAATTEN, but now it's GRATTEN. Also, you couldn't spell Tektronix correctly. My point is, we like to know if someone has a hidden agenda. So let me ask you, what are some of the things you find annoying on the scope?
