Gotta say, while I could have just spent $40 for 2-3 posters using some print-on-demand place. I'm simply lazy to dig through an Horowitz or an ARRL handbook when I just need to look up something simple. Plus, I'd rather not blow up some image from the web that isn't mine anyway. It's certainly not for everyone, but to each their own. I've got exactly one poster over the PICKit 3, I gotta say - I use it.

As for the price, I don't think it's unreasonable. First, kickstarter/amazon take 10% off the top. The bulk printing run starts at $400 for each run of 200 posters(shipped) - but it's mostly setup, adding more 100 posters costs just a couple bucks more for the paper. Oh, and my wife and I still have to stuff them into poster tubes, print shipping labels, and send them off - that cost is fixed. Below a certain number of customers, it's simply not worth it. The kickstarter keeps my cash in my pocket in the case that no one was interested.
That being said, I think the price is *quite* generous. If there's enough left to (maybe) get some more supplies, test equipment, metal stock, or tooling, I think I will have earned it - so no regrets there!
