>>> A quick "thank you!" to all of the buyers so far.  Everyone has been prompt and friendly.  I am shipping out several boxes today 3/9/2024. <<<

NOTE:  Scroll through thread for added information, photos, documents as I add them.

[EDIT] Added items in red.  Priced some items, working on the rest.  May update pricing as I go along.
Shipping.  Several people have requested multiple items pending price, etc.  Will figure out shipping cost once the group of parts wanted is finalized.
[EDIT] Updated Item 58 resistor specs again...
[EDIT] Added items 15, 16
[EDIT] Added price, photo and other details to Item 70   and Added Items 71, 72

So I have been in the slow process of retiring for a few years now and have just gotten around to a big "clean out" of my lab and shop.  I have a number of items to sell.  I've tried to give some of this away to local high school robotics clubs etc. but they are just using "robot kits" and don't really get into the nitty-gritty.  I would like to ship only to the lower 48 USA as I have no experience shipping internationally.

If any of these items are TRUELY interesting to you, please post your interest and zip code (PM if you like) and over the next few days, I'll post pictures, asking price, shipping estimate and other information for the ones that have real interest.  I will try to make the prices more than fair.  Before you express interest, please look up the item information online (for the ones with model numbers) to see if it will fit your needs.  I believe these are all in working order.  I will do basic tests of each item that I am able to test before boxing and shipping.  If I run into anything wrong or can't test an item then I'll say so.  For the HP/Agilent gear, the carry handles have been removed and thrown away.

Meters, lab equipment, etc.

Pictures of PCBAs of Item 60 and 61.  Larger PCBA is Item 60.

Other details, Item 60
The processor is ATMEGA2560, not ATMEGA128 originally listed.  (Better)
Only 1 relay is populated.
Has SD Card connector
Also includes spots for expanded SRAM
Optical devices may be removed and replaced with serial ports.  (Work and parts required)
Has a sounder (beeper)
Has RS485 I/O
Has battery backed RTC chip.
Has easy expansion with header and board mounting holes for a daughter board.
The power for the board is 24 VDC input.

I was able to give items 61 to local electronics club.  So, these are gone now.
Other details, Item 61
Processor is XMEGA32E5
Includes 3 Axis Accelerometer
Unused pins brought out to test points, programming pins brought out to test points
Power supply can be 12V probably ok down to 9V
Designed for 12V control signal inputs, could be changed by revising resistive dividers.
Outputs to drive 12V loads (BTS462 drivers)

I believe this may be the data sheet I used with the 4 x 20 Vacuum Fluorescent Display.  The data sheet is for a 2 x 40 but the 4 x 40 works the same essentially.

Items 59 - 7700uF 450V Electrolytic Capacitors

[SOLD]

Mallory CGH772T450X8L

These are either new old stock or have been used on a lab bench for a few hours.  They are in good physical condition and have been stored in a cool, dry environment.  Not sure I have the screws for the tops but they are common screws that can be gotten easily.

I would recommend reconditioning them by bringing up slowly and running unloaded at voltage for a few hours because they have been on the shelf for a while.  I believe all the major cap manufacturers have a process they recommend.

Hi
Are you sure that the resistors are only 0.1Ohm? I only recognise one single resistanceribbon at the connection.
For 0.1 Ohm this would have to be much thicker.
I therefore tend to assume 0.1kOhm.
Can you please look this up?

Good eye!  The photo represents the physical size of the resistor.  I have several values and that one happened to be nearby to photograph.  The ones for sale are 0.1 Ohms and are essentially the same construction except for larger nichrome ribbon.

ITEM 16 - TEK Portable 2 Channel Isolated Oscilloscope

[SOLD]

It pains me to part with this one but I need the space.  These scopes typically suffer from LCD issues where the polarizer goes bad, so I've read.  I don't see signs of that on this one.  This was bought by me as my personal scope and has been well taken care of.  I think it was $1200 at the time.  I used it extensively for 3-4 years and then it has not been used much since.  It is great when you need isolated measurements and great for "out in the field".

* The AC adapter is just an off the shelf one.  I will be looking for the original AC adapter and will include that adapter instead if I can locate it.

Includes:
Scope
Generic AC Adapter
Two 100 MHz Tek probes, with the insulated BNC connectors
Two large probe clips
Serial cable and adapter
Carrying case
Shoulder strap
Probe color markers

(Misc. other stuff on bench not included of course...  :))

Would you be able to ship the Item 16 the Tek scope internationally? I don't need the probably dead battery, or power adaptor as it would be the wrong voltage.

ITEM 12 NCI GoLogic Logic Analyzer

Model GLUSB-72-2M-136

I think that one channel does not work.  It may be a wire.  I've never troubleshot because I have never run out of channels...
Includes two cable sets (36 channels each), Trigger cable, AC adapter, MICTOR Cable, USB Cable and soft case.

This has been a single-owner, single user device and has been used and stored with care.

ITEM 16 - TEK Portable 2 Channel Isolated Oscilloscope

We have the same device here at work.
It will probably be scrapped soon with no chance of buying it...  |O
I would have to steal it now to save it from being scrapped!

Any buyer should be assured that they will be receiving a well taken care of, good quality, no hidden "features", item from a knowledgeable seller! :-+ Had a smooth local sale and picked up the 34401A DMM and electrolytic caps.

Super happy with this purchase, seller even included the original Agilent DMM manual! What a find! Did some quick tests at the seller's lab, and also tested some other functions once I got home, all in good condition so far.

Thanks @Retirednerd2020 for an honest and easy transaction

ITEM 70 - Parker Hannifin OEM750X Indexer / Stepper Driver

These are very nice indexers / Stepper motor drivers.  I have (6) for sale.  All are unused.  A simple serial connection to a PC or other controller is all that is needed to program motion.  Several can be daisy chained on one serial line.  (RS-232).  Simple strings are sent in sequence to setup and move the motor.  Once the "program" is downloaded it can be run.  A program can contain loops etc.

Projects I've made with these include:  Rotary table position indexer for mill, camera slider for macro photography and a screw driven equipment lift.

Attached photo, user manual and programming manual.
Also a text file showing a couple of typical programming examples.

I just had time to open the box Retirednerd2020 sent me.

The 34970A passes self test and all the cards (plus T couples and cables) looks in great conditions!
You can't go wrong when you buy stuff from somebody who is retired, 99% they took care about those toys with passion... not like a surplus action...

Great communication, packaged very well, great price!

6 stars.
