Can I buy a uCurrent in Europe?  If so, where?

Simon's Electronics website is offline and the SparkyLabs website is out of stock.

No eBay or Amazon sellers.  German seller says it's on backorder.

It would be really handy for a project at work.  Too much burden from our shunt resistors.  Willing to buy a unit off someone privately if need be.

I have built one for myself. I have spare PCBs if interested.

I have one that I have no use for; however, my unit has the "ucurrent" murphy where its got the wrong op-amp installed which might give you noise on your measurement.

Annoyingly, I've contacted dave to try to get a remedy (maybe even just ship me the correct chip) but he ignored my email, as he did a lot of other people (check the Youtube comments).
I'll sell you the unused unit at a discount, say 40 euro plus shipping, because you might need to buy and replace the opamp. Alternatively, if anyone can point out a cheap low-quantity source of the op-amp or just post me one I'll fix it for you before shipping it out!

Alternatively welectron, the guys who sponsor Mark reps, the best German youtuber, have it for 69 euros, but I'm guessing this is the seller who have it on back order as its 30+ days delivery?

Yes, that's the seller, awaiting stock from Dave I suppose.

Unfortunately as it's a company purchase it needs to be above board - new product and (ideally) from a VAT registered supplier.

Ah sorry, just thought you didn't like ebay! Good luck, I struggled to find a supplier in Europe and actually ordered from Dave directly... taxes and shipping were a killer

Can the uCurrent be ordered from Dave now?  I wasn't sure whether it had been discontinued permanently.

if anyone can point out a cheap low-quantity source of the op-amp

Aren’t these a common item available for $1 or less (single quantity) from the likes of Mouser and Farnell?

I've bought everything from Mouser, yes. The current 0,1R sense resistor was the most expensive part.

Fair enough, I normally shop out of RS or farnell/onecall, and I haven't really looked. I was quite frustrated with the mistake and lack of response so I just pushed it in a draw. Objectively speaking, the fix is relatively cheap and straightforward to carry out so I should do it.

Who in the UK needs my uCurrent?  Needs, as in not just wants. PM me your shipping address.
Original model from many years ago - never used.
Cheers
Leo
