Very generous offer.  Good for a local hackerspace maybe?
OK, back from a week in HELL ... and survived :-) Major heat wave !!
Hackerspace and other Makers don't want them (except for the boxes of LCDs). NO-ONE local have any interest?
Again, way to heavy and costly to ship, plus it's a lot of effort and time, which I'm short of. Last call.
You know what? I feel like moving to Australia...

Well, kidding, but if I was local I'd be all over this.

Sorry, I should have updated the thread, but 10 mins after I made that last post, a member from literally just down-the-road
dropped in and took the whole carload ! After trying unsuccessfully for a few weeks, I just needed it gone.
However, I still have more to strip down, in the next few weeks, so If you're still interested I'll PM you.

Sounds good. Is any of the test equipment available or for sale?

If you check out my gallery at -  www.pbase.com/digsys/electronics_stuffz  Last photos marked "Test Equipment"
I haven't had time to sort out how I'll approach this, but for now, IF you see something you're interested in -
PM me with the item and what you'd think was a fair price, or the max $ you'd be willing to pay (in the CASE of a high priced item !,
NOT what we can fleece). I'll then check with the owner and give you their decision or any counter-offer they may decide).

I see a bunch of HP6034A 60V/10A  (200W max) power supplies. These may be interesting for someone. If you pull everything from the shelves I think you'll find some more nice stuff.

Are some of the VFD's shippable?

I would be interested in 4 of them if so for robot debug output displays.

And are they the kind that support serial IO?

Did you ever get any of these? I'm hoping I'm incorrect in assuming digisys gave them to the hackerspace :D

I did collect a new box of the VFDs yesterday, but I don't have any time to split them up, pack them, work out shipping etc etc
I am in "contact" with a member to see if he is interested in doing all that. These things are fragile and heavy !! for what they are.
Like I said, they're old units, and seriously, not worth that much. I'll update when I have info

I would be interested in the vfd too, if there is anyone else in the uk wanting them i could help get them to the uk in one go and then distribute them out to whoever wants them, would save digsys posting many packages

Just a thought!?

Just as a matter of interest, what is that round thing to the left in picture 17?

Top left - Torroid winding machine, naturally.
Bottom left - Epoxy mixing / dispensing system. I'd have to check if it has vacuum / pressure adapter as well.

Nice shed!

I don't suppose there is an air-coil winding machine lying around, capable of forming 1.6mm wire?

If you're looking to get rid of one of the 6034A's, I'm local and in the market.

There's winding machines everywhere, handling from hair width to a square inch bar.
You're welcome to come and have a look. Based in Bayswater.
If you come around, you can make an offer for it. The owner will have final say, but anything within reason, maybe better :-)
For the rest, I'm still collating a list, so I can only do spot checks when I have time.
