Curious, did anyone else get the "Err" message on the first couple power ups?

Did you have the tweezers or alligator clips installed? I remember something about this being discussed before. I'll see if I can find it.

Yeah, I saw it elsewhere, and no one could pinpoint what it was. I didn't have anything installed at the time. First power up, it just did that and powered off. Did it one other time, but hasn't since. Was just curious. =)

i turned it on once, then put the aligator clip lead in once it was on. no error messages. havent gotten to play with it yet.

Based on my request he has even put a lower price on the box, 40$ and it has clearly passed my country custom, I didn't had to pay no VAT.

I see $85+$14 shipping, without ground lead, so this is more, but still a good price. I would assume (given the VAT comment) he ships to places other than the US?

I paid it 84.35 + 14$. He was the only one who agreed to put a lower price the others said "no I can't do it that is illegal". Bit now I see he has removed my country from the countries he ships to, don't know why everything went well in my case.

I don't really need a ground wire, I presume it's only for the high resistance measuring, but it's not that hard to make one if needed?

Ah, well given the VAT savings, probably worth it.

And yeah, ground lead is like a dollar cost, at most.
