20kVA and about 450lbs.. pretty sure you can only ship it on a pallet too.

Buyer must have fork-lift. Or a football team nearby.

It would make for an interesting tear-down.

220kg, no problem.......... Will fit in a post box for sure.

As a plus you can use it as a work bench as well as a power supply.

They even charge $10 for local pickup.
And if you have it shipped there's a $75 palleting charge not included in the shipping charge.
I suppose it does take some work to pack it right, no bubble wrap.

Don't worry. My local couriers will still break it. They managed to break 2 vacuum pumps, by dropping them on the drive end.

Reminds me when Jim Carey posed as a delivery guy treating the package like soccer ball.

But I wonder of something like a vacuum pump should get shipped strapped to wood blocks or something like that to absorb impact.  I know some things get shipped with an accelerometer to measure the abuse in transit. If it's too high on receipt it gets shipped back.

here, couriers have a 150lb limit, anything above that is freight. yours don't have a limit?

It was freight, and packed in a box bolted down to a wooden inner sheet, with packaging and shock absorbing cardboard and bubble wrap on all sides. Not going to help if dropped from the back of the truck. We get deliveries of up to a ton by them.

Wait a minute, are these couriers by any chance covered almost entirely with hair? Do they have exceptionally long arms?  Do they sometimes utilize their semi-closed hands to augment their movements? Does the playing of music soothe their soul almost immediately? You may have yourself a gorilla problem.

I think your courier has hired the samsonite luggage testers or possibly the lowland gorilla popular in some ads.

Try to lure them away from the freight with a few bananas.

They have been known to break concrete blocks...............

Mostly by driving into them.
