https://www.eevblog.com/forum/repair/show-us-your-ugly-repair/msg1014897/#msg1014897It's listed as an auction, starting at $50.
Ebay Listing:
Dell S500wi DLP Projector. Removed from working environment due to faulty main fan, since repaired. The mirror and lens look clean, with very faint scuffing of the mirror that doesn't seem to affect the projected image.
This auction is for the projector as shown only. There are no cables, screen remote control or pointer included. The bulb seems bright, but I don't know how many hours it has. In any case, replacement bare bulbs are available on Aliexpress cheaply.
The WiFi dongle is included. Also I have the side cover for the cables area if you want it. It's gray colour, not beige. Apparently they all are.
Like all short-throw oblique projectors, this requires a completely flat projection screen, or the image will be distorted by screen irregularities. This effect can be seen in the photos, where I'm using an old roller pull-down fabric screen, which isn't flat.
Selling cheaply because I have no use for it and don't want to store it. Incidentally I have two more I'll be selling, but one of them is not yet tested.
Located in Sth Sydney, Bankstown area. Pickup for cash is OK.
