WTB: GPIB-Cables (EU/DE)
« on: May 19, 2022, 02:47:39 pm »
Edit: Thx for the offers. I've bought some of them and my needs are covered for the moment.
But there are others who seem to be interested, see below.
-------------------------------------------

All said in the title.

I'm looking for a few working GPIB-Cables for hobby projects.
Metal plugs preferred.

A NI PCI-GPIB card is running already.

How many is a few and how long should they be?

I think I have too many and could sell some.

Just shot a 2m HP one for 22 Euro in E$-Kleinanz.

Another - say two* - of 1 m would be nice.

*)trying to avoid having the pile on my side.   :-DD

I just looked and I have 3 pieces that I could let go, each about 60 cm long.
These are original Meilhaus cables

20 Euro each or 50 Euro for all 3 plus 5 Euro shipping cost in Germany

The Meilhaus connectors are metal, right?

Shipping from England would make a deal uneconomic, wouldn't it.

Oh yes, Meilhaus made really good quality GPIB cables.

Have a look at https://www.surplustechmart.com/catalog/product/view/id/5481/s/lot-of-2-3ft-adapter-for-ieee-488-gpib-cable-metal-connector/
They indicate registered air mail for $0.00 to Germany.
I ordered from them and was satisfied. Most parts are overpriced but the cables are OK. It takes some time for items to arrive though.
