Someone I knew passed away a couple of months back and his wife is selling the contents of his home repair workshop.
I had a look today and while there wasn't anything there that I needed, I told her I'd let people know about it.
There's a few cheap multimeters and some home made test gear (no CRO) and a bunch of older components in drawers.
There was also a box of valves but I didn't go through them as they're not my thing.
Other items included partial rolls of cable, various speaker drivers, some abandoned repair items (hi-fi mainly) and boxes with hardware in them.
If anyone is interested I can put you in touch with her. The suburb is Wellington Point on Brisbane's south side.

I'd love to have a look, but alas my garage runneth over! :-[

I'll have a look. I have a friend who may be interested as well.

Since the guy was only what I'd call a backyard repairer, it would only be worth checking out if you're quite local.
PM me if you want her details.
