Greetings everyone. I have some equipment for sale. for a little background, I'm a 30 year power electronics designer, mW to MVA. Nowadays my work either goes into orbit or on large vessels. I don't kid around with stuff, don't have time for scams and the like. I'm not researching "fleabay" price structures, don't have the time. Can't stand craigslist scammers and the crusty old farts walking around hamfests can't find the on button for most of this stuff.

Letting some equipment go.
1.) Agilent 8753ES VNA: This is a 30KHz to 6GHz VNA. it has served me well. Great working condition. I've used it for antenna design, impedance measurement, dielectric analysis. Connectors are 7mm type. It had one minor problem. Internal intermittent had the display inverted for a while. When I worked calibration at the university going through EE program, these things were often caused by ribbon connectors (usually 3M displacement type) and natural cold flow pushing the connector back a bit over time. I remedied this by simply using and external monitor. Problem went away, been gone for 5 years. Last cal'd the unit in 2014. Asking price: $1000

2.) HP 8590A Spectrum Analyzer: 10KHz to 1.5GHz: Great unit. I've actually had the unit in my own collection for over 20 years, prior to that I commissioned it on an automated test bench "at work". Unit has a problem. Frequency is a bit off and there's no 10MHz master input. with other equipment, this is often attributed to aging in the main synthesizer TXCO or OXCO. I've replaced them to have everything come back perfect. This unit shows a 500MHz carrier as 500.120 MHz or so, and the carrier moves slightly (like an OCXO drifting.....). I suspect if it had the 10MHz master input and I did override the internal base frequency source that everything would lock in. Suspicion at this point, not verified. CRT in great shape, plenty of intensity left. Always used with a 461 type  LISN network, limiter and high pass filter to massively attenuate line related components. I made sure the front end never saw anything "bad". Asking price $200

3.) Gigatronics 6080A synthesized RF generator: 10KHz to 1056MHz. Rock solid unit. Frequency is spot on, attenuator works great. Asking price $400

4.) HP34401 6.5 Digit DMM: Great working condition, never had problem. Asking price $250

I can send pictures, but can't seem to post them here...

As for contact, my schedule can be hit or miss. I'm located near Rockford IL. I'd rather not ship stuff. contact me at 7o8-eight46-5three5-oh. correct obvious mistakes in that information and you get through. spambots, sorry, pick on Boeing or something.....

Update: The VNA, RF generator and Spec An have been sold!

good day Paul, that is an interesting offer. if i'm not stuck with KC901V i will take this (VNA) more seriously, but you are 3 years late sorry. posting in ebay may increase your hit, even if you add the 10% tax, but its clear you are not the fan anymore. cheers and good luck.
if something can select, how cant it be intelligent? if something is intelligent, how cant it exist?

Looks like middle-south of the US if the 5 designator in the callsign was assigned  ;)

Very nice price on the 6GHz VNA, in my opinion, hope it can find a good home!

Amazing price on the 8753ES - I'd be all over it if I was local!
And he does say he is near Rockford IL.
