Just got an order from Frank's...Multimeter silicon wire and banana plugs.  Jeebus it arrived quickly, 6 days from order to arrive.  Now that's what I like. :-+

I did some research, suggestions were for 18AWG.  Anyway the wire...its absolutely great! Soooo soft!  But its too small a gauge for meter (IMHO), not to worry it won't go to waste. I get all confused in AWG and mm I wish the world would just convert to metric :palm:

I'll just order some more, probably 16 & 14 AWG.   I need some PSU leads as well.  Thumbs up to Franky. :-+

edit:
14AWG ordered!

Thanks for the kind words. I can't take credit for the order processing now as my brother-in-law is the one who's taking care of that these days (as per this post: https://www.eevblog.com/forum/chat/starting-a-new-chapter/msg1302891/#msg1302891). I'm more the customer service guy now :) I'm glad you're happy with your order in any case. Thanks!

Hi Franky,

I know you have a few variants of banana sockets, but I’m chasing some double banana sockets. Is this something you are able to get?

There’s lots of them on eBay, but I’d rather get something from you because I know the quality of your leads and other pieces have been great.

I have a few patch panels I need to make up and use the Pomona 2BA and 2BC cables a lot, so having a double socket with the 3/4” spacing would be a lot neater than me making it with single connectors.

I’m not after 1 or 2, depending on price I’d be up for 20 or so, if you can get something that would be great.

Cheers

79 items for me.
It might be an regional issue, items that aren't available to all locations?

Sorry about the confusion. I myself have never understood how eBay decides to sometimes show some items to some people, but not all the time to everyone...

I found some links to items and checked it out and it seems that your store doesn't ship to Sri Lanka.

Unfortunately that is correct. I've had rather bad experiences shipping to a few countries, and Sri Lanka is unfortunately one of those countries where package loss seems to happen way too often which led to refunds on top of lost inventory, so I decided to stop taking orders from these countries. Sorry.

Hello Franky, is the above true for Italy as well? I was looking at some of your products and was quite ineterested.
Cheers,

Hello Franky,

I'm looking for an adapter to use bannana plugs with my electronic load. In the attached picture you can see an example of such an adapter.
Is this something you can get and ship to Germany? Depending on the price I would buy up to 30 pieces.

Thank you!

Cheers

HI Franco,

Italy doesn't fall exactly under the same category, but due to eBay's policy now requiring shipping methods with better tracking capability Italy is unfortunately no longer supported as a shipping destination. Currently these are the destinations that we ship to:

United States, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, France, Belgium, Germany, Netherlands, Switzerland, Luxembourg, United Kingdom, Ireland, Spain, Portugal, Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden, Iceland, Latvia, Poland, Austria, Hungary, Slovenia, Serbia, Turkey, Israel, Lebanon, Russia, Japan, South Korea, Macao, Viet Nam, Cambodia, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, Indonesia, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa

Some of these may not be available at the moment due to the impact of the pandemic, as air traffic is still far from being back to normal yet.

Hi Hammy,

I had a quick search but couldn't seem to be able to find a source for these :( Where did you get yours from? Or was it a custom job?

Thank you, Boffin.
Yes, it is. But unfortunately out of stock. :(
What a bummer, maybe it is time to do the layout by myself and let ALL-PCB produce them ...

Drop the guy a message via Tindie, if he has no plans for more, he may just give you the PCB files.

A few chaps with SDL1000X loads have got these knobs that take 4mm banana leads and screw onto 6mm binding posts:

Saved them from using an adapter PCB.  :phew:

The advantage of such a PCB-Adapter is the standard space between the two banana jacks. A double banana plug adapter matches exactly. Something like this: https://www.newark.com/productimages/standard/en_US/10M4161-500.jpg

But if you only use banana leads these knobs are a good alternative.  :-+
