Those are some great looking sets, I'd grab them if I were in the right part of the world. I restored a 1937 Philco console about 10 years ago that I use regularly.

Glad they found a new home. I was just noticing the one in the middle looks like it might be identical to the Philco 40-180 I have.

They kept jumping into my thoughts every now and then - which is a dangerous prelude to finding an excuse to "save" them.  I can now move on in the knowledge I don't have to do that ... and find somewhere to put them.  ::)

I still have my father  old phillips 1956 tube  multiband radio  am, fm, sw, lw  etc ...

It is stored as a family memento, i was lucky to have a friend who repair and rebuild theses old radio, it only misses  two very long shaft knobs

I did started it some years ago, and i was able to pick  some china radios, new england   and some european radio  loll very surprised of its sensitivity and selectivity

good ol souvenirs
