Throw party now, don't get $10k bond back.
Keep a key, throw $10k party next week after getting bond back.

I'm here ... but where are YOU, Dave?

Pics or it didn't happen!
It wasn't my premises to take such an action.  Now I know for next time.

Next time?

Only of intent... not that said intent was carried out...  :-DD

I wish I lived closer... central QLD isn't quite down the road from Dave's place!  :'(

Well, just got back from my trip to Dave's (stopped off for some shopping on the way home).

Helped Dave with taking a load down to his car and picked up a few odd bits as well as some "useful"  ::) stuff.  Nabbed 3 SFF computers and bought one thing.  I was kinda hoping my offer would be declined as I really didn't need another power supply  Yes, I know. I can hear you!  but he accepted it - I think, in part, because of the mad dash yesterday.  I think all my "guilt points" from that experience are well and truly used up.

Pics later - once I have worked out where to hide put all the stuff.

PS.  While Dave has done pretty well in cleaning out the lab that is soon not to be It didn't seem a whole lot different from when I arrived to when I left.

I was reminded of this: "The first 80% of a project takes 80% of the time and the last 20% takes the next 80% of the time."

Correctamundo.
Quite clear now though!
All the gear gets dumped tomorrow, one person there now taking some stuff but that's it I think.

Also a Keithley 240A 1200V voltage reference. Working. $100

a quality unit, all I had to do is replace some tubes in mine

keep in mind, not floating, the negative is chassis connected.

Pics:

Some stuff:

Some scrap:

Some stationery:

^ ^ ^ ^ ^  These boxes are the ones Dave uses for the BM235 and carry the "No BullS**t Packaging" graphic I did for him.  Until today, I never had a physical example of one of my creations being used commercially - which is why I grabbed them.

The three boxes to the right are alcohol swabs.  There were 4, but I lost one somewhere between the lab and my car.  Backtracking my steps did not find it.

There is one thing I've thought about for a long time - and that is having a "feature wall" or something "arty" using PCBs, possibly depopulated - and backlit....

... and that box of cards from the ultrasound machine I left behind is still buzzing around the back of my mind.

Now that I have it .... probably not.  That task will probably fall to my kids when I kick the bucket.

Are those boards from the ultrasound machine still available - or did they get taken?

UPDATE: Practically all gone now. Just the printers, LED tubes, and that pesky credit card imprinter, I'll just dump what's left.

Probably a good thing.

I'm still suffering from the aftermath of turning up with what I got yesterday.....

Hi Dave!
Is it possible to send one blue calibrator by mail to Russia? Interesting as a souvenir. :)
And sorry for my English.
