The device is in good optical condition, a bright, high-contrast display and few signs of wear. It is a device of the upper performance class with numerous automated measurement procedures, for example, to determine SSB phase noise or channel power, with two independent channels, two windows and zoom. The device is being sold because I want to reduce the size of my measurement laboratory, especially in the high-frequency range; see also my other ads.
So far, so good. However, for some time now, the test has shown an error when the device is switched on, see last picture. It is reported that the Rom (meaning the Eprom in which the software is also stored) is not working properly. However, this message does not always appear and there do not seem to be any consequences, the device continues to work properly.
However, I would like to point out that this does not have to remain the case. A probable cause is the degeneration of electrolytic capacitors, preferably in the power supply.
This error is taken into account in the pricing.
