Hi all
I have two older Metcal MX-500P-21 for sale.
Soldering station only. Hand piece (iron), cables etc. are not included.
Both have had main psu capacitor replaced (2200uF/63V) and one got a new power switch.
Tested with MX-H1-AV hand piece, but will also work with Metcal MX-RM3E or similar Thermaltronics like SHP-1
Note that the power switch is after the psu and the transformer have a slight hum, so a way to switch off mains power before the unit is recommended.
