There is a reason why the Fluke sold trucks and trucks of the 87V.
It get the job done quickly and don't fuss around.
Then came the 189/187 which are bigger but with more functions. Many got the 18x Fluke but still kept the 87V because they did not want to "move from home".

Can we say the 18x killed the 87V? I would say no, but for sure after that the 87V was less attractive.
We need also to mention the 287/289, which are basically this:

Hate or love design, but for sure the simplicity and user friendly interface of the 87V/18x was gone.

Looks how young Dave was...

he and I am sure many of you have beautiful memory solving problems using a trusty 87V.

I bought this legendary meter new when I decided to have (...) something decent for me. Back in those days I got a rise in my salary and finally I was able to buy a Fluke 87V. It never disappointed me, even today that I wanted to sell it. I just finish to check the Ohm/meter and it is, as expected, still spot on.

On top of that I collected all my test leads (90% all Fluke branded) I do not use very often, and I will pack them together with this nice meter.
Yes the two Fluke pouches (one for the meter, the other for the spaghetti cables) are included of course, here we go:

For more pictures please click here

The only defects worth to mention are a couple of imperfection on the display which now has a protection foil on it. Nothing to be worry about, but I like to be transparent and keep my excellent seller reputation here.

Asking a honest price of $399 $350 + shipping.
For US lower states $410 $360 and it will magically appear in front of your door in a couple of days.
Rest of world please ask.

Reason for selling: I have too many meters, try to downsizing and get some space back in my lab.

you will get a LCD on display picture.

No it has some tiny scratches on the polycarbonate surface. LCD has no fade segments and it is clear and crisp.

I am in USA, this is why in the title I put "[US to X]"

If you can't see the defects on the screen is a good thing, as I told you they are tiny imperfections. Since you asked, see below...

the OP price is good for a complete set of leads and the meter offered price, and he add the magnetic strap too

and maybe he could accept some offers in a PM ... since he wrote ask for shipment  ...

Congratulations for the deal and pointless post. How many leads did you got? One red and black one?
Can you see how many leads I am offering? Do you realize it or not?
The more you offer the higher the price, are we on the same planet?
Why I even need to write this?

If anyone but jonpaul wants my Fluke set just PM me.

Only 2 bidders, but they were very stubborn  ^-^

I sold it for over $350... so my price estimation was a good one! ;)
