FS (USA): 1080p HDMI camera + lens
« on: May 20, 2019, 11:21:16 pm »
For sale is a PHD-1080 HDMI camera and Computar MLH-10X lens, both in excellent condition.

Details on the camera:  https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32664880388.html?spm=a2g0s.12269583.0.0.53f16cf7ZaWkjx
Details on the lens: https://computar.com/product/601/MLH-10X

This is a great combination for PCB inspection, due to the 60 Hz frame/30 Hz update rate and Sony IMX183 exmor sensor.  The excellent optics of the Computar are well-matched to the 1/1.9" sensor size, provide a working distance of ~8" (200mm), 0.4 to 4" field-of-view and independent manual controls for aperture, zoom and focus.  The ability to trim aperture to suit available light allows control of depth-of-field.

$295 plus shipping to anywhere on the blue planet.

I have same camera
One retification: sensor is 30fps but upscale to 60fps for compability, meaning half of frames are repeated

Quote
Note: The captured frame rate from the sensor is 30fps/second.
The HDMI video out displays at 60FPS for compatibility with some monitors and TV's.

This make noticable lag and not suitable for live work under a LCD but is OK to record

Here's a video preview from that camera, my record, for people who want know the image quality beforehand

Thank you for pointing out that error.  I have corrected the listing accordingly.

The video above is from the same camera.  Do you want still images as well?

Pause the video on a steady frame, then you get a photo overview there. Example at 8.50m

I had a very similar one, and I recommend AGAINST this one.
The lens are bad, with the typical blue/yellow edge effect.
Also, the focusing (if auto focus is enabled) can be acoustically noisy, since they didn't use ultrasonic actuators. They just used steppers.
There's no way to control the camera other than plugging a mouse to it, so if you are looking into control it over USB, think twice.
It's not a "dumb" camera -- since it has internal focus adjustment, you will have to adjust it from time to time, so running it without control isn't really a good option.

what do you expect from cheap optics?

look at the pictures, the lens is just screwed in thread with no wires/contacts interconnect, just like my [34MP 1080P 60FPS HDMI USB Industrial Electronic Microscope Camera 130X C-Mount Lens] >:D how it can autofocus? through air? i havent seen budget $500 or china model with autofocus. btw my [34MP 1080P 60FPS HDMI USB Industrial Electronic Microscope Camera 130X C-Mount $100+ New] >:D is real 60fps (in video mode) not imitation from 30fps.

You grossly underestimated the smartness of Chinese cost reduction.
The sensor board is moved vertically with a stepper and lead screw, instead of the lens.

right. but the OP version and link is not mentioning about any autofocus... but ads at the bottom of the link provide another link to autofocus version...

The camera which I listed for sale does not autofocus.  The computar lens listed for sale is manual focus, aperture and magnification.  I have two of these lenses and they are of very high quality.
