I was thinking of buying a 10m roll but only need about 3.6m,   ESD Mat Dual Layer 900mm X 10M Blue as used by dave

was wondering if there were other people who wanted to buy the remaining
piece /pieces?

I'm on the wrong continent and whatnot, but what about either saving it for later refurbishment (I suppose these surfaces don't last forever), or misusing the rest as a floor mat?

I could also envision using it as shelf liner for projects in progress. Expensive, yes. But think of the nerdgasm value: "I have static safe shelves!!"

mektronics sell it in any length you want. Just have to ask.
I got the exact length needed for my bench from them, 1.6m

They also have the earthing plug/clip kit for a small amount more.

I bought a 10m roll of that matting, but was a little disappointed with it.  It's ok, but not fantastic.

The last few metres of the roll were very rippled and still hasn't flattened out completely, even after months on a spare bench.

Not really.  Since it's on all of our benches now I didn't bother looking at other types.
