FS: EMI Lambda ESS Power Supplies
« on: March 19, 2014, 01:32:23 pm »
I have two EMI Lambda Power Supplies. Both of which have been kept in good condition, one of which has a broken warranty sticker.

These power supplies are twins, one of which I've got a technician's note for, saying it works and is accurate. The other didn't say anything, and I don't think the note was meant for both of them. They can output 10kW, 220V at 46A. They're perfect for playing "How much power hurts?" I'd really like to sell them for some university money, as I'll be leaving this fall. I'd like some value out of them, but I'll definitely go light on some fellow EEVblog members.

Feel free to make an offer here or on ebay. If you do it on ebay, PM me your username on the forum. I'll ship anywhere, as long as the buyer pays shipping. The prices are really high just in case, so don't let it scare you.

The ebay listings:

I know I don't have much forum reputation, but I've been watching Dave's videos for a few months, and really enjoy them. I have a hard time finding new ones :(.

If I'm missing anything, I'd appreciate you letting me know. Thanks.

EDIT:
These units are designed for use in semiconductor facilities, although they're good for many other applications as well. If I could find someone looking to start a home fab setup, I'd be really interested.
