This 3458A developed am error: 114 Non-volatile RAM checksumIt appears to work well despite this:-The pictures show it accurately measuring a 10k ohm resistorIt also measures a (depleted) 9V battery properly tooI'm not certain of it's age, but I think it is 12 years old. It might be older because a bit of googling suggests the non volatile ram errors usually only appear on instruments older than this. There are instructions on the net of how to replace the non volatile RAM.The meter appears to have been opened by the calibration house, it is has not been opened by anyone else.
I can't see the accepted price, just 'best offer accepted'. How did you find the £2400 figure? Or did you buy it!!?
