[Clearing out the cabinet.

Added my Kikusui COS5100 w/ COS 5060A Service Manual.  Excellent condition   $125 plus shipping.  I found my forever scope  :-DD

This is the closest SM I could find and it cost me $35.  It is "close enough" and I marked the VRs on the boards that relatedto the instructions.  Some are different references than the schematic, but I got there.  I actually prefer the graticules to my forever scope (a BK1590/Trio 2100) but the BK is more intuitive for my mind.  These things are like any tool, it is a fit to your personality.

Has Time delay for precise measurements.  This helped me learn how to use my Siglent.

Anyway, all switches, pots and attenuators are clean(ed) and function smoothly.  I have the handle somewhere I think). Power cord, no probes.

(

Hi Dewey, I could do that and buy some fireworks in the same trip ! !  (actually I still have quite a few Festival ball twelve packs) My neighbors complained about the last barrage my Sons and I sent up, so we had to shut down early..... hurry up 4th of July ! ! !
I am north of Worcester. Is there some electronics components that You are interested in return? I have a lot of 1960-1970's stuff.
Best regards, Eric

Eric,

It was great meeting a fellow traveler.  Enjoyed the conversation!  I am sending an email.

As you observed, I am in Dutch with MAry since I was unable to sneak in my now "forever" scope.  I had to scurry to get my Kikusui up.

BTW, anyone know where "in Dutch" came from?  In the Hudson Valley it meant "in a difficult situation".

Damn, I most certainly had something with the Dutch Soup You are simmering in !  Though, Mary hid her despair well. Had I know, we could have had our illustrious conversation while watching down the drive for the Postman.  I double owe You now.....
To sneak to the other subject: Some Colonists did scuffle with the Dutch in New York depending on associations. Certainly, Loyalists would not want to be in Dutch territory as the NorthEast boarders were being settled. Some actually sought freedom of religious prosecution by seeking harbor with the Dutch to get away from Winthrop and his henchmen. Or.....
Has Double Dutch have anything to do with 'in Dutch'. A secret conversation in double Dutch my have other ears telling each other. "Oh, they are speaking 'in Dutch' . This may go back to Colonial times or possibly even pre-colonial times in England, or not.
..... or does double Dutch more precisely describe WatchMakers current situation of being on permanent KP duty?
    Inquiring minds want to know.........................
