FS/WTT : Agilent 16702B
« on: January 12, 2019, 05:36:37 pm »
Hi all, im thinking about selling/trading my Agilent 16702B expanded "aftermarket" with memory and video upgrade (OPT# 003).
It's upgraded to the latest 2.90.00 OS and has working CD/floppy.
The front panel is in good working condition as the touchscreen, the lcd is ok but not perfect ans you can see in the photos (I've done them with the mobile phone so the real quality is better ) here https://imgur.com/a/1X0BqP9.
The unit comes with 3 set of cable (3 x 1-2 + 3-4) and 4 E5383A unopened pods (1-2-3-4).
Module i have:
- 1 x 16550A (100MHz State/500MHz Timing)
- 1 x 16555A (110MHz State/500MHz Timing)
- 1 x 16712A (100MHz State/500MHZ Timing)
- 5 x 16751A (400MHz State/2GHz Timing)

Im from Italy and can ship.

Whoever is interested please send me a pm or reply here.

Thank you.

I'm interested, what are you looking for in trade and in Euros roughly. Just give an order of magnitude if possible!

What modules do you prefer?

I'll be honest, I'm struggling to unpick the datasheets for the modules. It doesn't help that keysight seems to have scrubbed all the pages for them in the past few days (they're still in the google cache though).

Its good you have the flying leads (E5383A) but what connections are the (3 x 1-2 +3-4)'s? Samtech?

Is the difference between the modules mainly acquisition memory (aside from the higher speed 16751A)? I'm going to be doing some high-speed FPGA work hopefully in the future so I'm mainly looking at the 400MHz state modules.

Also, in terms of trading, I have a couple of spectrum analyzers I'm not currently using. Old but good ones. 8591A and 8569B, and loads of VXI hardware if there's something in particular you're looking for.

The cables that connect the module to the probes, they are the model number 16715-61601.
Each one have 2 connector to the module (16751A) and 4 connector (4 channel) to the probe (E5383A).

I have 3 set of cable, and 4 sealed probe (channel 1 2 3 4).

Tomorrow i will give you the specs of the modules.

Just to add something to the public record.  I traded a 6.5 digit DMM to hellzakk for the LA with a couple of 500Mhz cards. The LA came exactly as described, with the most extreme  level of packing I have ever witnessed. Happy customer here and recommend him to anyone else.
