Greenlee DM-860A Ebay possible scam???
« on: June 06, 2013, 10:20:30 pm »
Just a heads up on what is probably another ebay multimeter scam.

The previous Fluke 87V scam posted here

https://www.eevblog.com/forum/buysellwanted/fluke-87v-going-~-100-free-post-scam/

had the seller list 5 or 6 brand new 87Vs with free shipping.

This listing follows that pattern with 6 brand new Greenlee DM-860As (aka Brymen) with free shipping from a seller (mayizheng08) in China with no feedback.

The admitsite.com also shown in the auction has very sketchy feedback

hey

its simple , you MUSNT buy anything costy from someone without feedback

smart man would sell some cheap stuff  before he will sell some costy stuff due to aweraness of the feedback

it may and may not be a scam , I wouldn't buy it

As I suspected, clicking on

http://myworld.ebay.com/mayizheng08/

says "No longer a registered user".

Hopefully, all the people who bid didn't pay or got their bids all canceled by ebay.
