Just received my order of these. Seller was very good with communications, tracking info and the tubes were incredibly well packed.

Shame he was banned because all he was doing was selling stuff - that's just about all I do as well btw...

He's banned? With a healthy post history going far back, no spam, selling obscure devices you can't get from Maplin and kindly providing very interesting ancient soviet data sheets? Not to mention no complaints from customers?  :-//

...ahh, but he did mistakenly imply an IV-26 is a Nixie tube. How very dare he, that name is a trademark owned by Burroughs Corporation. BAN THE MOFO!  |O

Might not be Nixies(tm) but they are cool VFD tubes, get enough of em and you can make a very attractive large format clock. Dirt cheap as well.

I remember the days of the FLW and the B7971, I bought a box of 50 of those when they were $25 each...

I don't think it has anything to do with why he was banned, but IV-26s are VFDs, not neon tubes at all.  Why call them Nixies unless you are trying to fool people?

Russian neon devices have the prefix IN-, where the IV- devices are mostly VFDs and a few Numitrons.

And Ian, his prices were actually pretty high... on eBay, you can get 100 IV-26s for $80 delivered.

Not totally true Ian, you do also provide answers to questions asked, and supply documentation if you have access to it as well.
