FS: Loctite GC10 Solder Paste - New Stock (March 2023)
« on: May 29, 2023, 04:08:36 pm »
Hello everyone. New to this forum.
We have a handful of GC10 solder paste tubes.

We got these direct from the manufacturer. We are going to be placing another order soon if you need more than a few tubes. Thanks.

Welcome to the forum, CyberCityCircuits.

Out of curiosity, what is this low temperature solder paste composed of? All I could find on it was that it was lead-free. Is this another bismuth solder paste or something else?

Thank you.

This isn't low temp. It melts at 217C. It's the paste we use for production work.

Here is a video they made when they launched it.

I wish someone would break those down into smaller containers. GC10 may last longer than average paste, but for my home use a 500g container would literally last me more than a century…

I'd bite for a 50-100g tube load. 500g is just excessive

Next time I buy a fresh 500g tub I could organise some 10ml syringes for a few Aussie makers.  I usually only use half of a tub each year.  If you need some sooner, let me know...

I would buy 100g, but yeah, 500g would last me a lifetime and my housemates wouldnt appreciate that much in the freezer ... but yeah, let me know next time you buy.

Yes i'm new here, first post. long time reader, viewer and just figured I would finally join, as i'm an aussie looking for 1-2 used lab supplies and ebay is no good for that in Oz.
