That would work. Keep in mind : if there is paperwork needed : you are on the hook for that. I am not a professional seller so i cannot provide invoice, customs forms or anything else.

Perfect then !
I went to that website and they stated using UPS it would be like 73$ in shipping

What would it cost to ship the 1691D to 91345. Preferably without monitor since I bet that'll add a bit to shipping and I don't need it.

anywhere between 25 and 50$. i need to weight and measure it. if it fits in a large postal box it would be fixed shipping. The dell machine is a micro tower so there is a chance it may fit ... i will check it out today.

I'll take a look at that Extech 380560 when I come by in a couple of weeks.

Does the Tekpower 3711 have a trigger output? Been looking for an electronic load for various tests but it would need a trigger output to a DSO.

Thanks!

Once you know PM me payment details/total. The PC probably is required since the software doesn't seem to be available anywhere so if it's an extra charge just let me know.

The software is readily available from keysight website. You do need a windows XP machine though. i don;t think it runs under windwos 7 due to the Firewire drivers and the card required ( it needs a specific chipset of firewire )

Ah, I didn't find the software on their website. Like you mentioned, knowing all the hardware is compatible is good though. Even if I couldn't get it working on another PC I'd have that one.

FYI... I had the pleasure of meeting the seller at his facility in San Jose a couple of days ago to pick up a few items. He is an absolutely great guy and I can recommend working with him 100%. His depth of knowledge on test equipment is amazing, and it's fun to just trade stories back and forth with him.

Thanks again for a great meeting and for the excellent equipment!

Package arrived, in an electronic point of view it was perfect.
Unfortunately in a mechanical point of view not the best:

Both 66309D are mechanical damaged:

Me, too. This might turn out to be the most expensive doorstop I have bought in my life :-(

For fairness: My equipment that I purchased from this seller is in great physical condition, but in my case I personally went to his location and picked it up. Therefore I presume you're looking at shipping damage.  Those box photos would tend to confirm that... that's some serious box abuse. You might consider filing a claim with UPS/FedEx/whomever.

I totally agree with the shipping damage. However, in my experience, if the box isn't a complete wreck the carrier will claim insufficient protection/stuffing.

The brown tape on the box is not original. i only used clear tape. Looks like they opened the box.

The black mark on the top of the case is normal. That was there. But the dent in the front and back panels was not there ...

Take the back panel off (2 screws ) , glue it and remount.
The electronics should still work fine.
That is the problem with these power supplies. they are very heavy due to the transformer. I bubble wrapped the stuff and paid special attention to the fronts to add an additional layer of padding so the display/ keypad would not get damaged.
Looks like that worked ( apart form the one ding on bottom left corner )

With the weight of the supplies the back plastic retainer frame piece will crack with just a dirty look.

Yeah, there's a reason why these heavy instruments are packed like raw eggs when they ship from the OEM.

Anyway, looks like we'll be able to restore the devices, Zucca's got an offer for the back frames from Keysight that's pretty reasonable. Like in, not worth the time to patch up the broken pieces. The units themselves power up and pass self-test. I guess they'll be good.

Reship.com guys always open and inspect the package, so they make sure there are no live snakes in it.

I bubble wrapped the stuff and paid special attention to the fronts to add an additional layer of padding so the display/ keypad would not get damaged.

The bubble wrap was the mistake in my eyes. The package gets hit and the bubbles burst one after the other under the heavy local load stress. Bubble wrap surrounded by a hard surface, even cardboard, is a no go. You need to put something soft that can bounce back. For example, wrapped newspaper balls would have done the trick. I filed a claim to UPS because the package was obviously pressed and crushed from the top because the heavy load on top of it during transport.

To give you an idea how big the transport impacts were, here you can see what I found rattling inside a unit:
847312-0

The units do power on with no errors, but I do not have the 5 pin output connector to test them properly. I am still praying everything is fine.
