SPOTTED ON eBay [UK]
« on: December 21, 2023, 07:24:27 pm »
For the oscilloscope TEA members, I have just seen a Bradley Electronics Oscilloscope Calibrator Type 192

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/325862622539

They are great tools for calibrating/checking your scopes.
Motorcyclist, Nerd, and I work in a Calibration Lab :-)

So everyone is clear, Calibration = Taking Measurement against a known source, Verification = Checking Calibration against Specification, Adjustment = Adjusting the unit to be within specifications.

I have one of these. They're quite nice if you're checking a lot of scopes but hard to justify the space if you only have one.
Beware though : Mine came from a radio rally and, because the way to use them involves frequent turning of the dials to select different amplitudes, the wafers on the rotary switches are worn right out. They're multi-way, multi-pole and probably best replaced with maka-switch kits if they still exist.

If someone has one with good switches and wants the rest of the chassis, you can have mine for peanuts :)
