TDS7404 eeprom export wanted
« on: April 01, 2023, 12:56:58 pm »
Hi i am looking for a export to bin file from a eeprom from the TDS7404.
i am willing to pay $100 for a usable bin export which brings my scope SPC back to status "PASS".
This export can be made from a donor board or working unit to save you own content.
the X24165 8 pin chip contains the field cal which is used running SPC.

there are people saying it can kill you chip but that always depends on how you handle it and not making it to warm with you soldering iron.  Easiest way is to add solder so you get to big solder blobs on each side of the 4 pins. it is a quick and easy job.
and then take a tweezer and take the chip while jumping with your iron tip from side to side / from blob to blob and pull slightly.

the export need to be wellon compatible, a bin file is ok.  [2k]

save it for your own too i would advise!! the chip is located on the ACQ board in the corner on bottom side (remove ACQ board)and called  X24165 and marked on the board with U1052 you have to pick of the board.

if you have got one please email me and we can work out the payment when succesfull.
Even if somebody can help me out get the old content back in the eeprom from earlier made and passed SPC run.

my email adress is c.dickens@xs4all.nl for further contact.

thanks in advance and greetz charly
