UK lab tidy up...
« on: April 08, 2021, 05:35:41 pm »
OK I'm tidying up my lab a bit and putting a few bits of test equipment on eBay. It only makes sense for most of this stuff to ship within the UK.

First one is an Agilent 66311B power supply / DC source 0-15V 0-3A:

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/303951469279

Next up an Agilent E7495B test set - 10MHz-2.7GHz spectrum analyser / power meter / sig gen.

Then I have some Keithley 2000 / 2015 meters. Some Agilent/TTi PSUs etc.

All good clean, working etc.

I would prefer for these to go to a good home rather than get top dollar.

I'll update this thread as I get stuff up there.

Hi. I wonder if you would ship also to Germany?

I’m in need of a PSU or two, particularly if they’ve got LAN so I can automate some experiments easily. I’ll keep an eye out for responses here. :)

Hello Alan,

What are you asking for the Keithley 2015?
Are you selling any HP equipment?

Cheers,
Mark

To answer questions so far:

>>>  I’m in need of a PSU or two

There's 2 off TTi EL302D which are not programmable, 1 off Agilent E3631A which, of course, is GPIB (or I think RS232).

>>> What are you asking for the Keithley 2015?

I'm inclined to just let the auctions run their course.

>>> Are you selling any HP equipment?

A 53132A counter, maybe a 3245A

>>> I wonder if you would ship also to Germany?

I can't imagine the shipping economics would work out for the heavy stuff (PSUs etc) - maybe for the lighter items.

Next... ('70s heavy metal or is that just me?)

Agilent E3631A bench power supply 2 x 0-25V 0-1A, 1 x 0-6V 0-5A 80W GPIB/RS232

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Agilent-E3631A-bench-power-supply-2-x-0-25V-0-1A-1-x-0-6V-0-5A-80W-GPIB-RS232/303952843393

It's much less work buying test equipment than selling it :)

Unfortunately eBay don't seem to factor that in :)

I don't mind the weight (at least for this level of weight), it's the fans that do my head in

Hence the playing of '70s heavy metal to drown them out!   :-DD

Fans are a consumable in my book, and they get noisier as they get older. At some point the ones in my 66311B and 6633B will annoy me to the point of replacing them with something modern and quiet (the fans, not the PSUs).

Sarcastic thanks to Alan for making me add to my eBay watch list...

I don't notice the fans but then I did once work on an FX trading floor...

OK 2nd EL302D and last PSU...

Alex Harvey apparently was the band I was thinking of.

Yes, good point - do you think something like 20% cash back after the fact, paid by say PayPal, for anyone on eevblog forum. Think that would work?

Sounds very decent of you. It would certainly make me bid a bit higher.

OK nobody has told me why that won't work, so that's a commitment.
