Used 0.005% resistors in eBay?

Has anyone purchased these and found them good? Half price of new and I am going to be building a few resistance standards so it adds up.

Well you can't count on them being 0.005% anymore. They might be, but who knows after they have been soldered and desoldered using whatever method the seller used. If he over heated them then all bets are off.

I wouldn't trust them as far as  I could throw them.
Where's the traceability ?
They could be any old junk, rejects or even removed from equipment because they are out of tolerance or unstable.

If you proceed to buy one or two, have them tested and by the time you've paid for calibration services you could have bought far more from a trusted source.

I'll run them a test for free , I guess one week , and I'll tell you the stabuillity and the absolute accuracy :P

That sounds like a good deal, do you offer burn in testing and thermal cycling too ?  ;D

I have some cheap lithium ion batteries from China, can you test them for me ?
