I bought a box full of mainly pulls and only paid £10 for them. They were untested but not had a faulty one yet. Some are bent but they are usable. Most absolutely fine.

Thanks for that - yeah I may have to go down that road yet especially with the ceramic 74S257's.

In a way I prefer not to rip apart other vintage bits of gear/works-of-art to get the parts I need, but I may have to. That certainly does have a good bunch of chips on there with good date codes! I've pm'ed the seller.

Cheers,
Dean

Just sent you a PM.  Your parcel is ready to ship.........

There are maybe 4-5 ICs which I believe are Fairchild ones.  Can't remember what they were now but not on your list.

I understand and agree, but I really doubt that those boards will ever operate again.  They are custom wire-wrap for some custom application.  In my opinion, they are way overpriced, but maybe the seller can be reasoned with.

Went thru a pile of PCBs with 76/77 date codes, nothing on your list.
Good luck with it though.

So how identify Fairchild?

None of these are on the list, but I don't know the manufacturers anyway.

Yep those are all Fairchild parts.

I probably should post specific parts I'm chasing - I'd love to be able to find the ceramic 74S257's for example, or the slot connector.

thanks again to everyone for looking :)
