Wanted - ATI Remote Wonder.
« on: December 05, 2024, 04:31:29 am »
I've used mine for a decade and worn out the buttons.
Looking for unused.
Location: Canada.

Yes, Ebay has a few of them in the USA.

Trust me, my ATI remote is in much worse shape than my photo.
I use it all over my house as the RF works everywhere to my media PC.
Its membrane when new is also water resistant as I also use it while on my exercise bike.  Most other remotes die within a month, not lasting anywhere near 10 years.

I'll have to ebay buy from the US if I want an un-used one.

First you should just thoroughly wash rubber buttons with detergent and wipe PCB with alcohol. I bet they're covered with fat that seeped through the rubber. Usually should be enough to restore functionality. Next step is removing a very thin layer of conductive rubber by gentle sanding. Only if that does not fix the issue you should be thinking about gluing anything to the buttons.
