WANTED: Old DSE Catalogue with Component listings
(1/1)
justinc:
I have a couple of boxes of ex-DSE components here and I'd like to catalogue what I have. Bloody DSE website does not have old parts numbers accessible any more (bastards!!!!).
So does anyone have one or two older DSE catalogues with component listings in them that they'd like to part with for a few bucks plus postage?
Seeker7:
Hi ya, where you based, and how old do you want? I think I have a 2003 catalogue kicking around somewhere...

Thanks Seeker. I've managed to get a 1999/2000 edition through a Trade Me Message Boards.
I'd be happy to take yours as well if you want. PM me your bank account and an amount you want for it plus postage. If its reasonable I'll fire the funds through and let you know my address details.
Regards
Justin

Although the current DS website doesn't index the deleted stock catalogue numbers, all the data is still kept at head office (well that's what they told me a couple of months ago). There are still some very loyal staff there from wayback (Patsy Ip, etc.) who can dig it up for you. Although DS is not obliged to send out old parts information if asked nicely via email they have obliged so far by emailing document scans and so on.

Awesome tronix!
Thanks for that. I have a catalogue on it's way so hopefully it will have what I need in it. Not a bad haul. Useful stuff includes about 10 PICs, a swag of LEDs, Transistors and so on.
