Wanted: Oscilloscope from EU
(1/1)

Hi,
Does anyone have an analog scope - If so, I'll be interested in it. If the price is reasonably.
I does not require much bandwidth. Just a simple 2 or 4 channel scope, at minimum 20 MHz. It must include at least 1 probe.
I won't buy in USA, because of shipping fee and import taxes.
Okay, just to be sure that anyone knows what i mean..
I know Ebay, etc. But i don't know what to look for, what the price should be, etc, etc.
Maybe "buying used analog scopes" was a topic to make a blog about - Hint: Dave ;) I found this site, while looking for an used scope, and i bet others do.
Btw..
How can a scope be listed as digital, while having a CRT-screen - Whats the difference between an ordinary CRT scope, and a digital CRT scope?

Lots of early digital 'scopes had a CRT screen.

A digital 'scope converts the signal to digital before processing it and displaying it on the screen. The signal is sampled repeatedly, each sample is converted to a number which is plotted on a graph. The main advantage is, the display can be paused and scrolled back and fourth.

Thanks. That makes sense.
Btw. I bought a cheap 2 channel 20 MHz scope.
