Normal binding posts don't accept safety or shrouded banana plugs, but some do, such as on recent TTi power supplies:

I wonder, where could a person acquire similar binding posts?

I haven't seen those kind before, but if you want the more traditional shrouded banana jacks, Mueller has some.

DigiKey sells them.

BTW, the TTi web site claims those binding posts are exclusive to TTi.

Even if you find them, different shrouded binding posts work with different shrouded banana plugs.

While I have encountered incompatible shrouded banana plugs/jacks, it's really, really, really, really, really rare. 99% of the time they just work.

Every modern test instrument that I have with shrouded banana jacks is incompatible with every other one.

Thats sucks... Isn't there some kind of standard?

That is very strange, I haven't seen this problem.

Me neither. The only safety banana stuff that I own that isn’t compatible is some of my modern Keysight meter’s accessories getting stuck if I push them onto some very old Philips banana leads. I have yet to encounter a name brand meter that had trouble with any of those leads, new or old.

I do have a $9 VC830 meter that has faux safety banana jacks. It is well and truly incapable of accepting proper shrouded banana plugs, but that’s regardless of make.
