WTB (UK) : Thurlby Thandar Knobs

I have a PL320QMT Power supply but it's missing one if the knobs; highly infuriating to look at! There are 2 'generations' of knobs used on these supplies, and old grey one (which I have) and a more modern-looking beige one.  TTi sell the newer one but have a minimum order value of £15 and I don't want to buy 36 knobs.

If anyone has one old knob or eight newer ones (I'd have to replace them all so they match) then I'd love to buy.

Also TTi use the same knob type across all their instruments but in two sizes, mine are the large ~20mm o.d. 6mm shaft.

There are 2 fixing types as well. The modern type(s) have a flat on the shaft.
 Older supplies (EL302 for example) have a splined shaft on the pots.
At least TTI will sell parts to anyone that will pay the MOC & should be applauded for their attitude to customer service. Last time I bought parts fro TTI I think the MOC included free postage.

 If it was Keysight, they would not only make it impossible to buy parts but refuse to calibrate equipment for individuals even when still in warranty.

Sorry but I do not have any of the old grey knobs left or I would be only too happy to help you out.

Have you considered 3DP? Thingiverse and other resources can take a long time to trawl through, but I have found (after some trial and error also) knob models for quite a few different pieces of my gear.

Not to mention other useful things.

I have bought replacement knobs for TTi products from the likes of Rapid Electronics and I think they were Cliff brand, I have sold the items now so I can’t check.

I had the same problem. I emailed TTI and they told me they don't stock the old grey style knobs, only the newer beige style.

If you can't get your replacement, would you consider selling your existing grey knobs as a job lot to pay for ordering 36 new style ones from TTI?

For anyone that needs knobs for an older TTI unit, I've found a reasonably close match from OKW, given TTI don't sell the older grey knobs any more.

Knob: OKW A26 20 068
Top: OKW A41 20 108

The attached picture shows the above knob on the right, next to two genuine TTI knobs.

OKW also make a grey knob top with no black line marking; A41 20 008

They're based in the UK and will deal with you directly.
