WTB (US) HP 8165 board 08165- 66509

Before I go and order a bunch of DIPs and repair this board, I was wondering if anyone had a spare board that they could be persuaded to part with.

HP 8165 Board A9, AY Reference Loop 08165- 66509

I bought two 8165 units  as junkers and have one working fine. The other one works fine if the A9 boards are switched. The bad
A9 board has problems with the 10 KHz circuit, and both PLL loops. Needs lots of DIP replacement..

Have a broken 8165A in my trash pile. The variable gain amplifier ASICs are toast on mine IIRC, not worth repairing.
20$+shipping from Germany, if you're interested. I guess shipping is something in the 30-50$ range.

Price is right but I do not think shipping cost could be rationalized.

I persuaded a guy on e bay to part out a HP 8165. Will let you know how it works when I get the one board.
Perhaps he would sell you the board that you need for your unit.
