[bought] MAX471 chip in DIP8 package

Cannot find any in DIP8 package, only SMD package. Does anyone know where to buy these chips in DIP8 package? Low quantity, say 4-6 chips.

ebay and Aliexpress have those, with all the downsides attached to those source (But would those be available as fakes? Don't think so...)

I have had good luck with utsource.net (buying only from seller "utsource").  Yes it's the Chinese lottery but they have a website, a mobile app and a us customer service phone#.   They also have the decency to tell you they are selling pulls: https://www.utsource.net/itm/p/210129.html

Whenever I have had an issue, they have taken care of it.   Shipping speed is decent also.

They are like Amazon now, allow third parties to sell.  I only buy from seller "utsource".

The scammers are clueing in and registering stores named "genuine utsource" and 'real utsource" which are still 3rd parties.

Otherwise for obsolete parts you're paying $$$ for surplus or taking your chances with Chinese fakes/remarks.

Utsource is a very reliable source (only for those sent by themselves, not 3rd party). I used them personally for most hard to find (or used IC), never went wrong.
