Ok... i see that someone voted no way for this trade... so i tough to put some prices next to the components and make a total. Of course this is valid only for someone who is in the market for something like this.

resistors:

1 reel 3000pcs 0603 820R  1%   $5
1 reel 3500pcs 0603 5k1    5%   $4
1 reel 5000pcs 0603 6k81  1%   $8
1 reel 2000pcs 0805 5k49  1%   $5
1 reel  200pcs  0805 150k  1%   $0
1 reel 5000pcs 0805 2k21  1%   $12
1 reel 5000pcs 0805 20k    1%   $12
1 reel 4500pcs 0805  1k     5%   $3
1 reel 4800pcs 1206 24k3  1%   $12
1 reel 4800pcs 1206 1R2    5%   $12
1 reel 3000pcs 1206 18k    1%   $12
1 reel 3000pcs 1206 820k  1%   $12

capacitors:

2 reel 1206 2800pcs 4.7uF 10V    $80  x2
2 reel 0805 4000pcs 470nF 25V   $64  x2
1 reel 0805 3800pcs 470nF 25V   $55
1 reel 0805 3800pcs 220nF 25V   $55
1 reel 0603 4000pcs 100nF 25V   $16
3 reel 0603 4000pcs 100nF 50V   $12  x3
1 reel 1206 2500pcs 22nF 200V   $180
1 reel 0603 1800pcs 220nF 16V   $12

IC:

1 reel soic 16  38pcs  ADC I2C PCF8591T Philips    $2.7 x38

loose components :

2pcs  Analog Devices ADP2303ARDZ     $3
2pcs  Analog Devices ADG1234YRUZ     $14
2pcs  Analog Devices TMP03FSZ            $14
2pcs  Analog Devices MAT12AHZ           $52
2pcs  LinearTechnology LT8582EDKD    $16
2pcs  LinearTechnology LT3090EMSE    $8

2pcs  LinearTechnology LTC1760CFW   $20

total retail price around   $980 at Digikey (i paid a lot more in 2008)
lets trim that to half because they are a little dusty = $490

so if someone is in the market for this components i say it does make it a good deal.
Please make me an offer with any kind of lab equipment  in exchange. I really need the space in my lab.

Its a fair trade if you can find someone who wants those exact components and has a beatup fluke they're happy to part with.

The reels are maybe worth $150 or so.
And likely no one cares about a couple of random loose chips.
It's a very niche trade.

Ok!
Then i will just give them away for free, it will brake my heart to just throw them away. Please post here the components that you want, choose only 2-3 reels to make it fair for all - Exceptions can be made if you have a really cool project in mind and need more reels. Shipping will be payed by the requester.  I will dispatch only when all the component are claimed and shipping fee paid. PM for details of payment and shipping cost
Also you would need to have at least 50 posts on the forum
Spread the word !

Why not put them on ebay?  Also could make a nice mail bag item.  I have no use for full reels,  as they would last into my grandkids life span which is a long time since i have yet to have children.  I could use maybe 50 of each to have in my parts drawers but thats about it.  Very good of you to give them away.

It's like me, I just don't need the reels, to much for me and for my kid, but I could use maybe 20 or 30 each.

If you want to separate them in small quantities, count me in.

Maybe its a good idea to send only a few components to each one. It definitely lowers the shipping costs, but increases my work and also i would have to charge like 1 dollar for packing because i would have to buy envelopes.

Please let me know if its better this way.

About putting them on ebay... i already had and now I have to pay 8 euro fees and i sold nothing. :)

Why do you want to get rid of those? You seem kinda desperate.

If everything else fails for you, I'd take these off you. But first you should try to sell them and make a profit. Where's the rush?

reel 1206 2800pcs 4.7uF 10V
reel 1206 2500pcs 22nF 200V

I tried to make a profit and i lost money ... so i tried to exchange them for some equipment.. also failed so the last thing before trowing them out i want to give them away.
Do you need the entire reels or like 100-150 pcs?

That's strange. You should be able to sell them on ebay in quantities of 200 or so and make at least a small profit. I wouldn't need more then 300 each.

For those who are asking why do i do this :

For the past 2 months i'm unemployed and i have a lot of free time. Two weeks ago I cleaned up my home lab (Dave's fault EEVblog #570) and found this components . Now i don't have space or use for them and i also like to do charity work .
I tried to sell them without luck. So this makes it a great opportunity for me to contribute to this awesome forum and feel good doing some charity instead of throw them
I CANT BELIEVE THAT PEOPLE QUESTION THIS MUCH GOOD WILL!

I will cut all the reels in number of 100-200 pcs of each so this will be the final way that this components will go away.

I don't think people are questioning your good will, they're just looking out for you. It's concern not malice that makes them hesitate.
Speaking for me, I don't want to take stuff from someone who is in some sort of trouble. Good luck with finding a new job. I know that can be shitty.

I totally agree with deth502 . What's the harm in trying?  I guess its better than giving it for free.

This means to keep them a long time and make many trips to the post office so that will not work for me. i wait until all the components are claimed and then send them all in 1 day
Thank you anyway for the concern.

I think deth was trying to suggest that you put a description of what parts would be in a bag (perhaps put together a set of caps, a set of resistors, an a misc) and the price, and then let people post what they want and then you can ship them all in one shot like you intended.

I give them away for free, but if you feel the need to pay for them you can do that :) as much or as less you want.
Now i am cutting the reels in even lengths and after i will post how many packs i can make

I want about 500 pcs of each reel (except the 150K resistors, which I see you only have 200)... I'll leave you a message with my adress... And when you are ready to ship them, let me know...

I'd chip you some dollars for a pack, PM me your paypal address.

I've bought 1k of 1k resistors last year, already can see the end of it, you can always just throw some uF caps around and it's always good to have a 100nF reel.
