[AU] $3 USB chargers & cables at Bunnings

Popped into Bunnings and just happened to hear someone commenting about some cheap USB gear - $3 each.  Thought I'd check it out and, sure enough, I found a display with several items ... ALL were $3 each.



I had a look at the plug pack.  Solid construction, with USB-A (18W) and USB-C (PD20W) output - the sort of thing I have seen for $20.  I asked one of the staff about them and it seems they are a "promotional" item, which, from what I can glean, is like Aldi's "Special Buys".  In other words, get them while they're there.

I did grab a couple.

Ozbargain mentioned these PD30W chargers a few months ago for $6 (down from $9.99)

And someone linked the device report page - so they seem to be kosher    (as I would expect if sold at Hammerbarn)

The 2m cables are really useful by the sofa and bed.  My wife just destroyed another lightning one, but I keep spares.

Yup, there's this, which seems to be the AU site with all prices jacked by 20%.

I ducked into the store for a circular saw blade and checked the stock of these...

There were two USB-Lightning cables left - and that was all.  I wonder how long it took to get to that level...?

The exchange rate between AUD and NZD could explain that or at least a fair bit of it.
